King Mo having knee surgery, manager doesn't accept charges against him.
"We had some knee problems going into the fight against Larkin. He had a torn ACL and his knee swelled up three or four weeks before the fight and we had to have it systematically drained. He is in surgery right now having his ACL put in Lawal does not have an ACL. We talked to that doctor if there might have been something he put in that may have caused this, but from his conclusion it doesn't seem likely. He put in an an anti-inflammatory steroid at the time when he first drained the knee, but since then he hasn't put anything in. But it wasn't an anabolic steroid so it wasn't the same. That's basically where we are right now. We are still trying to figure out this thing out."
King Mo tests positive for steroids!
The Nevada State Athletic Commission released the findings from the “Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine” drug screenings and out of all the fighters screened King Mo was the only one who tested positive for steroids.
Lawal was found to have Drostanolone ( Drolban/Masteron) in his system which is commonly used as a diuretic as well as an injury recovery treatment.
Jackson doesn't like King Mo, refused stepping down to StrikeForce
"I don't like the guy. He's a hater. He's a big time hater, you know what I'm sayin'? He's been calling me out on Twitter and stuff. He's just hatin' big time. He, uh, he told me a while ago that he wanted to fight me when I'm on my way out. When I'm over the hill. Like most fighters, we get old and the time comes to retire. He said that's when he wants to fight me, years ago. Now he's comin' at me like I'm on my way out."

So, I lost a fight to that guy, so now I'm a bum? Well, he can say that all he wants, but that guy has never fought anybody close to the caliber of the guys I've fought."
"It's funny that he gotta talk about me after his fight and say I should move down to the Strikeforce and fight him. I'm sorry, but from where I'm sittin', that's a step down. You know what I'm sayin'? Why would I wanna step down to the Strikeforce and fight him when I'm fightin' in the biggest organization in the world?"
King Mo signs four-fight deal with Strikeforce
Muhammed Lawal has signed a new four-fight deal with the promotion.
Before the deal King Mo told: "I've got one more fight on my contract and then my contract ends in February. King Mo just wants to go where he can get paid and get paid without the check bouncing."
