Miller admits being nervous heading into Bisping fight!
“I went out there and took my ass-whipping like a man. I wore it like an Armani suit. I thought, I might have nothing left, but I’m going to go out here and try. I’m going to swing for the fences. And I did, but I came up short. That’s the harsh reality of ultimate fighting… It felt weird walking out there. I didn’t feel like my normal self, and it really showed. I couldn’t get relaxed, couldn’t perform to my potential. And I’m not taking anything from Bisping, but it was definitely not my best performance. I didn’t think that that layoff would do anything to me. But man, it was apparent that it did. I kind of freaked out in there. I’ve got to admit it. I usually sit down on the [stool] and get a burst of energy back. But man, I sat down and I was sucking wind. I didn’t feel like myself. I was like, man, what’s going on with me here? I just couldn’t get back refocused. In the training room, I did it just fine. But inside the Octagon, I didn’t come back like I do. I was going, where am I? Usually, by the end of the 60 seconds I’m recharged. I wasn’t recharged at all. I was more tired than when I sat down.”
Mayhem Miller talks about his poor performance against Bisping, agrees with White.
Dana White was right. He made some disparaging comments about my performance, and I agree with him. I displayed the worst of everything that night in the octagon. I was tense in round one and I locked up after that. I didn’t perform to my potential, and I take full responsibility for it. That wasn’t a UFC caliber performance, and I’m not happy about it- I won’t, however, write a worthless diatribe on myself, because that is not constructive. I elect instead to take this misstep and make something positive out of it.
We are all the custodians of our own destinies, and we must all try to do the absolute best with what we have to work with- sometimes you will have great successes and other times colossal failure, but if you don’t try time and time again, you will be left on your couch with nothing but a bucket of “What-ifs.” You have no choice in this life but to push forward and try to do the best you can.
My challenge to you, and myself, is to continue to press on and make the most of your adventure here on earth. At the end of your life you want to be sure that you’ve made your best effort to make a collection of epic stories. Some sorrowful ones, some happy ones and some downright amazing, but the challenge for you is to find and make the most of each of these adventures."
White not talking good about Mayhem...
"I still don't know (what I'm going to do with him). It was bad. To be honest, and my Twitter's been blowing up with Mayhem fans blasting me, but facts are facts: It was the worst standup I've ever seen in my life. I don't know if I've ever seen standup that bad. I don't even know what to call it – I've seen guys with some ring rust. Some of the punches that were thrown by Mayhem Miller in this fight, you can go to a girl's Tae Bo class and see better form in standup. It was embarrassing. The guy's been in the business over 10 years. It looked like it was his first fight ever. It was the weirdest thing I've ever seen."
Bisping on Miller bout
"In all honesty, I'm a better striker. I'm definitely a 10-times a better boxer than he will ever be. I'm a better kickboxer. I'm a better wrestler. I'm bigger, I'm stronger, I'm faster, I'm more athletic, I'm more experienced. I've fought in the UFC for over six years. His big thing is the ground game; I've done jiu-jitsu, one form or another, since I was eight years old. I've never been submitted in my life so I really don't see him having too much of an advantage there. He's good at taking the back and choking people out from there. I guarantee you right now that won't be happening. I'll be taking him down and pounding him out. ... I've got this guy beat in all areas."

The Ultimate Fighter 14 coach Mayhem Miller wants a title shot after Bisping fight.
He stated: "I've got another guy on the radar: the guy with the damn strap, Anderson Silva," Miller said recently at the UFC Fan Expo Houston. "He's the best fighter in the world, and I want to stick my nose right to his nose and see what happens."
